- 심리적 스트레스와 그것을 관리하는 방법 (예. 명상 등)이 인체에 미치는 효과에 대해 분자생물학적인 방법을 사용하여 연구하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어, 인문사회학적 방법, 뇌파 등 생체신호 측정방법을 활용하여 다학제간 연구도 수행하고 있습니다. 인체에 미치는 효과에 있어서는, 신체 (증상)에서의 변화 (노화, 염증, 수면, 통증 등), 정서에서의 변화 (불안, 우울 등), 인지에서의 변화 (작업기억 등), 사회성, 자아존중감 등 다양한 관점에서 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

- 스트레스와 스트레스 관리가 미치는 건강에의 영향에 대한 메커니즘을 이해하기 위해 다양한 모델을 사용하여 뇌-말초(장, 근육, 간, 지방조직 등)의 연결 변화에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 황칠, 인삼 등 다양한 천연물과 천연물 유래의 유효물질들이 이러한 스트레스 (관리)에 의해 변화하는 뇌-말초 축에 어떤 영향을 미치며 식품이나 약물로서의 개발가능성에 대해서도 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
